Samsung Announces New Rugged Android Smartphone

  The Samsung Galaxy Xcover is the new Android Smartphone added to the Samsung’s Galaxy range which   is water proof and dust proof. Features:
  •   3.65-inch touch screen display.
  •  A protective tempered and scratch resistant glass.
  •  3.2 mega pixel camera with LED flash, supports HSDPA  speeds of up to 7.2Mbps for  data connectivity, and boasts Samsung’s custom UI TouchWiz;
It also attains the IP67 standard certification meaning that it will survive under water up to 1 m deep for about half an hour while being dustproof.


Samsung also claims that the LED photo light of the camera can also be used as signal and flash light.
